Wraparound connections

Wraparound services are individualized services that bring multiple systems together with the consumer to provide a highly individualized plan to meet the unique needs of the consumer.  The Wraparound team works together to create and implement a plan of care that serves as a roadmap to guide the provision of the services to each individual.  Wraparound is a system of coordinated care and supportive services designed for each individual.  Wraparound philosophy is being fully integrated in CCS.

Wraparound Connections is a face-to-face space that uses the Wraparound philosophy to support providers by connecting with others that do similar work. Community and connection are important for ourselves and the work we do. By connecting with other providers, we are able to learn about resources and process thoughts, emotions and feelings through authentic human connection. These meetings are open to all providers, yes, all providers, in a space that fosters connection, discussion and support. Wraparound Connections is not associated with or sponsored by the WRRWC or any other CCS consortium. 

Whether independent or contracting with an agency, Wraparound Connections is an in-person gathering open to all providers in the CCS program. 

I first started Wraparound Connections for two main reasons, and, with that, Wraparound has evolved. 

The first was the WRRWC was integrating the Wraparound philosophy in CCS with resources that need group discussion to be understood and implemented into practice. With that came the second reason, and I was noticing that not all providers had the ability to connect with other providers in their agency and/or did not feel connected to providers in their agency to discuss the shared resources. I wanted to take this Wraparound philosophy in creating authentic connection and use it to support providers. 

Wraparound has evolved into a face-to-face support time for providers to share resources, share talents and engage with providers. It is not a meeting or a training.. it is a time for YOU to show up as your authentic self, have a treat, and connect with others.
